Content Upload Permission Policy
This policy explains when and how third-party encyclopedias, furry encyclopedias and archives (including WikiFur®) may upload or reference my work, for YouTube and other video upload website permissions please check my media policy further down the page.
Scope of Permission
This policy applies to original content created by Jonathan Curley (Velivian Fesothe) and published across my public projects and sites, including but not limited to:
- Blog posts, articles, and dispatches
- Lore, character descriptions, and worldbuilding text
- Publicly released images, graphics, and other creative works
Permission to Upload
Editors of independent encyclopedias and furry encyclopedias and or archives, including WikiFur®, are granted permission to upload, quote, or summarise my publicly released content, provided that all of the following conditions are met:
- The upload clearly states that the content originates from Jonathan Curley (Velivian Fesothe).
- The upload does not imply any affiliation, partnership, or endorsement.
- The upload does not copy entire articles or works wholesale unless the content is already released under a permissive license that allows this.
- The upload follows the target site’s own editorial, attribution, and licensing rules.
Trademark Clarification
WikiFur® is an independent, third-party furry encyclopedia. I am not affiliated with WikiFur®, its owners, or its contributors.
Permission to upload my content there does not grant permission to use WikiFur® trademarks, logos, or branding in any way to mark or represent my works. All such rights remain with their respective owners.
Attribution Requirements
When uploading or referencing my content, editors must include:
- My name: Jonathan Curley (Velivian Fesothe)
- The source site or project name (for example, the relevant blog, dispatch post, or archive)
- A link to the original page or source, where technically possible
- A note that the content is used with permission under this policy
Restrictions
The following uses are not permitted under this policy:
- Uploading private, unpublished, or members-only content.
- Uploading content explicitly marked as “Do Not Archive” or similar.
- Uploading content in a way that misrepresents my views, identity, or intentions.
- Uploading content in a manner that suggests I maintain, operate, or officially edit WikiFur® or any other third-party site.
Revocation of Permission
I reserve the right to revoke permission for specific pieces of content if:
- They are used in a misleading or deceptive way.
- They are uploaded without proper attribution.
- They are used in a defamatory, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate context.
Revocation applies only to the affected content and does not automatically revoke permission for all other works covered by this policy.
Verification
Editors who need to verify this permission may:
- Refer to this policy page on my official sites.
- Check my public profiles or project pages where this policy is referenced.
- Contact me directly using the contact details provided on my official site.
By uploading or referencing my content under this policy, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
YouTube and TikTok Usage Policy
I allow the use of my publicly released content in AMV edits, commentary videos, analysis, clips, transformative edits, and other creative or educational works on YouTube or TikTok etc.
These uses must be transformative and should clearly state that the original material was created by Jonathan Curley / Velivian Fesothe.
Not Allowed
I do not permit direct, full re-uploads of my content that:
- Attempt to monetise or profit from my work
- Repost entire shows, movies, shorts, articles, dispatches, or other videos without transformation
- Misrepresent my content as belonging to another creator
