I’d like to use this dispatch to talk about a show I'm planning on making for FurShows, Solar Dragoon. Not to brag, but I have a very active and creative mind. This is relevant in this context because sometimes it just decides to create a domain name for a show series or movie out of thin air or the magic of randomness.
And if I’m truly lucky, no one owns or has camped on it for thousands of dollars as tends to happen in the online domain name industry world. I don’t think it’s 101% randomness and must include some level of an absorption of daily input, be it AMVs, posts, or random videos and sensory input, this particular one was likely born from watching a music AMV with footage from the anime Cowboy Bebop.

This is just a quick work‑in‑progress model of a console I’ve been experimenting with. It’s not related to the domain or show itself, I just like dropping in whatever’s on my desk to break up the text and keep the Dispatch feeling like a real studio log. The domain I picked for this show was, as you can imagine, solardragoon.com, which I purchased at standard cost. I prefer only .com domains unless something is needed for a specific project, as they are the gold standard in the domain and trademark world.
My thoughts on how this would work out would be a show that's space-related, not your Star Trek or Star Wars, more akin to older space animes with huge battle (space) ships, fighting ships, space wars, perhaps Gundams? Who knows? It's going to take time to formulate what direction I wish to take with this show.
Hopefully the next dispatch about this show will show more progress on what direction it will take with some concept WIP 3D art like I have posted above from Sketchfab.
