Boku No Fanservice, Dispatch 09 - Applied TechDecks

Sorry I missed yesterday's dispatch; I was exhausted. I went to bed after developing and I slept too long. I was planning on getting up and doing a dispatch and some more dev work, but it just happened like that as I'm now getting distinguishably older.

The internet has recently started its transition to machine-first and not human-first usage, so because of this, I've been developing my own system to manage this throughout my domain ecosystem and that of the websites I volunteer to develop for. It's called TechDeck or, respectively, TechDecks for multiple datasets.

This idea came from another TechDeck project created by Dean Lofts that focused on an AI social media card game, which I bought into and is now, to my knowledge, abandoned *srug*.

So I felt the concept was a good idea for a dataset protocol, and so I decided to build one, also I need one for my ecosystem that I have split into two groups, Fesothe and Furtainment, I created techdeck.tel for Fesothe and techdecks.tel for Furtainment; this is where I will build up my datasets that can be crawled by AI and ingested quickly.

Random Artwork:

This is a 3D model of a ship wheel that I’ve created and was textured by my partner Kilynn Tor and shared on her Sketchfab. It's not related to this post itself; I just like dropping in whatever’s on my desk. to break up the text and keep the Dispatch feeling like a real studio log. Be sure to check out the model! https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ship-wheel-fes-rmuv02-317d02bddff14df685a17e34942ca895

My personal deck will focus on my personal information, my interests, my work and other things I do, including my alt-fursona names, why I use them, their backstories, etc. Also my roles and aspirations.

My Furtainment Decks will focus on all aspects of the company, our character information, show and movie information, projects, etc. Not only will I have the two domains dedicated to datasets, but I am also giving each website I own a /techdeck/ and hand-developing the .md files to ensure they are accurate.

I've created it on LinkedIn as the TechDeck Standards Group, I describe it as "TechDeck is an open, distributed identity protocol for publishing structured, machine‑readable profiles across independent domains. This organisation hosts the official specification, schema, and documentation." https://tech-decks.org https://github.com/tech-decks-org

Next Steps:

  • update my techdecks
  • Write all the .md files
  • Write more dispatches
