I’d like to dedicate this dispatch to talking about this blog itself, I’ve decided as the whole premise is about my art that I should make the hero cover art for it. To this end I’m going to add a hero section at the top of the blog and push the blog content down, with art of myself as a chibi standing next to a postbox with a letter in hand standing on grass. This will be done in 3D I will also integrate a slide show as part of the hero section to feature shows and movies I’ve created and want to promote.
I already have a postbox that I started to create 2 years ago from the date of this dispatch entry, a Steampunk style model I designed in 3D that I can work towards finishing.
I do use a little AI to get an idea of what I'm looking for so to this end I have a couple of images I generated in Microsoft Copilot when at the time I was thinking of having the art work on the right side of the blog content.
Hopefully the next dispatch about this fully human created art work and hero section development will show more progress as soon as I've had more time to work on the html for it. In the meantime you can view the 3D collection for the Hero Section Artwork on Sketchfab at the link below.
Next Steps:
- Finalise the development specs
- Complete the postbox model
- Begin work on other parts of the artwork
